Raise your hand if you’re relieved that spring break is over. I know you adore your kids, but honestly after 10 days, enough is enough. It was pouring out yesterday and by the end of the day, my kids were arguing like an old married couple. I had HAD it…then smiled to myself knowing that Monday they would be back at school. Can I get an AMEN, sistah?

Venting Sessions 
We live in a weird twilight zone school district. Spring break was in March and now I am about 3 weeks away from summer vacation. Now what to do with 3 children in 110 heat? Fun, huh?

My kids’ practices were cancelled today too… and I was secretly happy. They are home from school now and although I was buried in work all day, I missed them. Funny how we need an hour here and there..then it’s all good.

Not looking forward to the homework battle I am predicting for this evening seeing the kids have been out of their routine for the past week.

In my area we went back to school last week, but the sentiment is the same. I also was secretly thrilled that all the games were cancelled due to rain yesterday.
