  1. Thanks so much! If it all made sense or was a piece of cake, it wouldn’t be fun…and we’d have nothing to write about!

Sounds like a great blog to follow. I’m excited to read and maybe even pick up a few writing tips from yourself, seeing as I am new to the writing/blogging lifestyle. I’m sure as you know, as a mom, there are many things to write about, even if they don’t make sense =)

  3. Thanks so much. Believe me, I get the daybyday thing. When you have little ones, there are times when you feel like you’re slowly going insane. My kids aren’t that old, but we’re thankfully out of the whole potty training and preschool phase! I look forward to following your blog and staying in touch. We mommies need to vent together to keep our sanity intact!

  4. Love your blog. The name is the best. I look forward to reading more because you have a lot to share since you have been there and done that. I named my blog mommydaybyday because I am always telling everyone I can only take it one day at a time. I am sure you can relate.

  7. Love your blog, Jackie! What a great outlet for all of us moms who are constantly teetering between laughter and tears and not ever sure which one will actually surface! Can’t wait to hear more of your adventures!

  8. Jackie – So excited to follow this as you have always had great advice for me! (e.g., how long will the pink-only phase last?).

    • Thanks, Courtney and Shannon! Courtney – the pink phase will last for what seems like a lifetime. Then one day, out of the blue, say around age 5, she will start liking blue. Suddenly, she will start choosing God-forsaken outfits you would never pick for her. Girly dresses will be replaced by leggings, jeggings, mini skirts and jeans in a variety of patterns. Then she’ll be obsessed with blues and greens. Overnight, thanks to the influence of classmates in the first grade, she will completely lose interest in all the princess stuff. This means no more pink dresses or pink fluffy costumes. For my little girl, she dove right into a Punky Brewster stage, God bless her. Although she still likes some girly girl stuff, she is 7 going on 17!

  9. This is great Jackie! I will pass it around and be back to see you soon!
